Kia McClain, Entrepreneur
Kia McClain is an award-winning entrepreneur, author, speaker, and mindful life coach with over three years of experience in the holistic wellness industry. In 2019, she temporarily retired from a very successful tech career to pursue holistic wellness full-time. Over her wellness career, which started in 2017 with launching her first wellness platform, she co-founded a positive quotes blog with millions of followers. As part of her public outreach and community work, she created a space camp centered around holistic wellness in partnership with NASA.
Kia creates mindful digital tools via platforms such as Amazon Alexa. Her specialty is creating digital wellness tools for people struggling with mindfulness, meditation, wellness routines, and regimens. She has several holistic partners in the KC metro and nationwide who have joined her in creating a one-stop shop for wellness. Kia is also a wellness contributor at Arianna Huffington's new wellness company, Thrive Global, where she writes about mindfulness and meditation.

HISTORY
Since 2005, I have been using my expertise to help build brands bigger, stronger, hyper-engaging, and disruptive based on a formula that I am always perfecting as technology and digital changes. My specialty is taking math, psychology, sociology, knowledge of digital and tech tools, strategy, data, and creative ideas to build targeted results with a domino effect.
I have spent years studying the rise and fall of digital empires, evaluating what went wrong, and helping brands to avoid the same fate. I also make tech, digital, and disruption an easy concept to understand via corporate training, modeling vs telling, and meeting people at the level they are at rather than setting a bar and expecting everyone to reach the goal.
I believe in enabling the entire workforce to think like innovators, while teaching them the skills they need to drive innovation when they apply their skills to the tools they are using.
