Join Google Local Guides and Put Topeka on the Map!
We are bringing Topeka Kansas Local Guides to the area with the goal of putting Topeka on the map. (Google Maps). According to Go Topeka, there are over 15,000 businesses in Topeka, but only a little over 3100 of those businesses are on Google Maps. As a Topeka, Kansas Local Guide, you will help to ensure that Topeka businesses are not only listed on the map, but also correctly listed. You will also add businesses to the map, post photos, helpful reviews, create custom maps via the "My Maps" feature on Google, and help create events based around the community.
One of the first projects we are working on as Topeka Kansas Local Guides is creating a custom map for all the stops on First Friday. We will be working with Chris Schultz of ARTSConnect to accomplish this goal. Some of these locations are not listed correctly on Google Maps, or are not there at all. We will do a crawl and show each and everyone of these businesses the recognition they deserve. We will take photos, add reviews, answer Google's questions about each location, and more.
